1. About these terms

These terms and conditions govern use of this website, operated by Alif Baa Tech, and form the general basis on which we provide digital agency services (web development, UI/UX design, branding, digital marketing and email marketing) to clients across the UAE. Specific project terms — scope, price and timeline — are confirmed separately in a written proposal for each engagement.

2. Use of this website

You may browse this website and use the contact form to make genuine enquiries. You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or submit false or malicious information through its forms.

3. Quotes and proposals

Any pricing discussed on this website is indicative only. A binding price is only established once a written, signed proposal or agreement is in place between Alif Baa Tech and the client, setting out scope, deliverables, price and payment milestones.

4. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, ownership of final deliverables (such as a completed website or brand assets) transfers to the client upon full payment. Alif Baa Tech retains the right to display completed work in its own portfolio and marketing materials, unless the client requests confidentiality in writing. Alif Baa Tech retains all ownership of its own pre-existing tools, frameworks, code libraries, templates and methodologies used to build a deliverable; where these are incorporated into a deliverable, the client receives a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use them as part of that deliverable, rather than ownership of them outright.

5. Client content and responsibilities

Where a client supplies text, images, logos, data or other material for use in a project, the client warrants that it owns or otherwise holds the necessary rights and permissions to that material and that its use will not infringe any third party's rights. The client is responsible for the accuracy and legality of any content, instructions or data it provides, and for obtaining any consents required to share it with us or our sub-processors (see our Privacy Policy).

6. Third-party services

Projects may rely on third-party platforms (such as hosting, domain registrars, email or advertising platforms). Alif Baa Tech is not responsible for the availability, pricing, policies, or acts or omissions of third-party services outside its direct control.

7. No guarantee of results

Digital marketing, SEO, branding and web development outcomes (such as search rankings, website traffic, leads, conversions or sales) depend on many factors outside our control, including search engine and platform algorithm changes, market conditions, and the client's own business decisions. Except where expressly agreed in writing in a specific proposal, Alif Baa Tech does not guarantee any particular business outcome or result.

8. Website content disclaimer

Content published on this website (including articles, pricing indications and service descriptions) is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute professional, legal, financial or technical advice. While we try to keep it accurate and up to date, we make no representation or warranty, express or implied, as to its completeness, accuracy or currency, and it should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice specific to your circumstances.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law: (a) this website and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied; (b) Alif Baa Tech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with this website or the services described on it; and (c) Alif Baa Tech's total aggregate liability for any claim arising from a specific engagement is limited to the fees actually paid by the client for that engagement in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under UAE law.

10. Indemnity

The client agrees to indemnify and hold Alif Baa Tech harmless from any third-party claims, losses, damages or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: the client's content, data or instructions provided to us; the client's breach of these terms; or the client's misuse of this website or of any deliverable.

11. Force majeure

Alif Baa Tech is not liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including outages of third-party hosting, email, payment or advertising platforms, internet or telecommunications failures, or other events of force majeure.

12. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of the United Arab Emirates shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms, this website, or the services described on it.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision; continued use of this website after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
