Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-09-07

This page is a starting template and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Please have it checked against the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL), and any sector-specific rules that apply to your business, before publishing it live.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Alif Baa Tech ("we", "us", "our"), a digital agency serving businesses across the United Arab Emirates. Contact details are listed on our Contact page.

2. What we collect

We collect personal data that you choose to submit through our contact form, our newsletter sign-up, or via email/WhatsApp, which may include your name, email address, phone number and the content of your message. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data through this website.

3. How we use it

We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes and proposals, and — only if you separately opt in via the newsletter form and then confirm via a confirmation email we send you — send you occasional updates. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

4. Where it's stored

Contact form submissions are sent via our email delivery provider, Resend, and stored in our business email inbox — they are not kept in a separate database by us. Newsletter sign-ups are also processed through Resend, but are stored differently: your email address is kept in a Resend "Audience" list for as long as you remain subscribed, specifically so we can send you the newsletter and so you can unsubscribe at any time. This website itself is hosted as static files on Cloudflare's global network and does not operate its own database of visitor personal data beyond what Resend stores on our behalf.

5. Cookies, bot protection and analytics

This website uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand overall traffic and how visitors use the site — for example, which pages are viewed and roughly how visitors found us. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects technical information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, and pages visited; it does not receive the content of anything you type into our forms. This data is processed by Google in line with its own privacy policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by using a browser/extension that blocks analytics scripts.

Our Google Analytics account also has Google Signals enabled, which links this data to Google's advertising systems so we can build remarketing audiences (for example, showing our ads to past visitors elsewhere on the web) and see aggregated demographic/interest reporting. If you're signed in to a Google Account, this may be linked to ads you see across Google's network. You can control this at a Google-Account level via Google Ad Settings, or opt out of personalized advertising broadly via the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out page.

Our contact form separately uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot-detection check, to help prevent spam submissions — it runs only on the contact page, processes some technical signals about your browser/device to distinguish humans from bots, and is provided by Cloudflare (our hosting provider) rather than a separate third party.

6. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To make a request, contact us using the details on our Contact page.

7. Data retention

We retain enquiry data for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request and for legitimate business record-keeping, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data submitted through this website, including relying on established third-party providers (Cloudflare, Resend, Google) for hosting, delivery and analytics. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information you submit to us.

9. Third-party links

This website may link to third-party websites (for example, social media profiles). This policy applies only to this website; we are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of any third-party site you access via such links.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision; continued use of this website after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
